thumbs up to ANET on this one. i think its only fitting that canthan chars have a chance to get protector of tyria and grandmaster cartography titles and vice versa. the skill point and 1k exp dont (at least SHOULDNT) matter to a character going backwards to these missions, and while i wouldnt consider it a big deal if the rewards WERE given, i certainly dont care that they arent.

Even if it was 1 frigging xp point, it would still factor in the 100% contentstatement that they made with the introduction of gw. Anything less can be seen as false advertisement and is punishable by international trading law. That wouldn't mean that I would make a big deal out of it, nor out of this but fair is fair...

Although I still wonder why people keep finding excuses for a company that keeps spindoctoring by promising x and providing y in stead. Its really mindboggling... any other non gamesrelated company would already be buried under IoU's from here till the kilamanjaro... Heck i wanna see your response when you ask for a beefburger and they serve you bacon... its meat so you should be content with it... Or when you buy a beefburger and they deliver you a baconburger without the bun stating that you'll get the bun next week when they fixed x or y...

People complaint about not being able to get the title "Protector of Tyria/Cantha", so ANet is going to fix that to satisfy us. As someone said " After a complain, people will find another thing to complain".
What is your purpose of doing first missions in Tyria besides getting title, exploring or helping people ? Do you actually want to get xp and skill points ?

As you said, you can get xp and skill points easily in Cantha missions and quests, so why do you bother to get xp and skills points from those easy missions ?
When you go to Tyria from Kaineng, then run back to Ascalon, your level should be quite high ( about 13+ with 2 attribute points quests done), so you can't say that you are "low level", "new char" and need skill points, xp badly.

My point is that anet went out of their way to take away the skill point you get from the mission, yes I consider skill points "content". They should of just left it how it was. I'll still be doing all these missions on my Rt though.

All that matters is that you can earn both protector of Tyria and Cantha titles . If that is the case , I couldn't care less about rewards etc. ( I'm assuming this will be possible - unless the two missions at start of factions campaign count towards protector-title in which case the "protector of Cantha " title is not obtainable for tyrian characters ) .

Quite frankly, I didn't buy the game so I can take my canthan characters back to ascalon, i probably will, but that's not why I bought it. As for your example, it's a little off, it's more like your ordered a bacon cheeseburger with 2 slices of cheese and instead got 1.9.
